Notes
Ingredients:
Oatmeal: Use Old fashioned oats (not quick oats) to get the best texture.
Eggs: Eggs make the oatmeal fluffy! Don't skip them.
Brown Sugar: Dark brown sugar gives the oatmeal a rich, caramel flavor with just enough sweetness.
Blueberries: Fresh or frozen can be used, no need to thaw the berries if using frozen.
Serving Tips:
Get creative with your toppings! Maple syrup, milk, and toasted nuts are a few of our favorites.
Don't have any blueberries on hand? No problem. Simply add 2 cups of another fruit (peaches are a great option) or omit it entirely and still get oatmeal that is packed with flavor.
Make a double batch and reheat it for breakfast all week. Add a couple of tablespoons of milk when reheating for a creamy texture.
